Aerospace Diecastings
Kinetic Die Casting Company makes several types of Die Casting Aerospace Parts. These aerospace die casting parts are used for many types of purposes. Some of these parts are used on many types of aircraft, such as: airplanes, jet planes or helicopters.
Aircraft manufacturers typically specify aluminum die casting to make the aerospace parts because aluminum is lightweight and inexpensive as well as very strong.
- Lightweight – Aluminum weighs only .098 pounds each cubic inch of material as compared to zinc which weighs about 2.44 pounds each cubic Inch.
- Inexpensive – Aluminum is the third most common element on earth, so it is more available than other materials. Aluminum is used in over 80% of all die castings produced in the world.
- Strong – Aluminum parts can be geometrically designed to be stronger than steel. Look up “aluminum is stronger than steel” on Google to see the results.
These aerospace parts range from: airplane engine piston heads, airplane distributor cap housings, fuel system parts, detention ring parts, cargo loading housings, lighting fixture parts, electronic enclosures, electronic housings, motor housings and various other aluminum die casting parts.
The companies that trust us to purchase their die casting parts from Kinetic Die Casting Company are many.
- Here are a few of the aircraft and aerospace companies that we can name:
- Robinson Helicopter
- Ancra International
- Whittaker Controls
- AAR Cargo Systems
- Boeing Aerospace
- Barry Controls
- Meggitt Aerospace
- Parker Hannifin Aerospace Corporation (Parker FSD)
- Circle Seal Aerospace
- Kelly Aerospace
- Curtiss Wright
- Honeywell
- United Technologies Aerospace
Low Quantities.
Many of these companies order lower quantities. One of the companies listed here will order less than 50 parts at a time. Many of these companies order 250 parts or less. Kinetic Die casting will accept any purchase order quantity.

Aluminum Airplane Parts
Where Are Aluminum Airplane Parts Used? The popular aircraft airframe has been the most challenging function for aluminum alloys; to account the progress of the high strength alloys is as well to account the progress of air frames. Duralumin is the first high strength, high temperature treatable aluminum alloy and was utilized originally for the structure of stiff airships. Duralumin was actually an aluminum-copper-magnesium alloy. It was initiated in the country of Germany and expanded in the United States of America as alloy 17S-T. It was employed first and foremost as a sheet and plate.
As the 20th century evolved, aluminum turned out to be an important metal in aircraft parts. The cylinder mass of the engine that controlled the plane of the famous Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk in 1903 was a one piece die casting in an aluminum alloy consisting of 8% copper. The aluminum propeller blades emerged as early as 1907 and aluminum seats, covers, cast brackets, cowlings, and comparable parts were regular by the start of the World War I.
In the year 1916, L. Brequet created a scouting bomber that identified the primary utilization of aluminum in the functioning configuration of a plane. By the end of the war, Germany and the Allies used aluminum alloys intended for the constructional scaffolding of fuselage and section assemblies.

Aircraft Die Castings 2018
In 2018, Kinetic Die Casting Company makes Aluminum Aircraft Parts. Kinetic Die Casting Company is an excellent American Die Casting Company that creates aluminum parts used by the United States Government as military parts. The military parts are often used by most of the divisions of American military in different contracts. The company’s clients purchase aluminum die casting parts and create finished military merchandise. The company’s specialty is to manufacture these military parts in less than one month of receiving the order of purchase. The company transport small amounts of less than a thousand military parts in as early as fourteen days, even earlier at times. They would also create and transport less than a hundred military parts if they are required to do so.
Die casting under high pressure is a procedure that the company uses to create aluminum die cast parts. They instill aluminum alloy metal that is being molten under high pressure to a steel die to manufacture aluminum parts.

Airplane Parts in Plastic or Aluminum
The Advantages of Aluminum Aircraft Parts over Plastic. On comparing aluminum die cast parts with plastic parts in terms of ability to recycle:
Plastic: Dilemmas concerning the plastic product’s ability to recycle came up by a nationwide task force, which called for plastics dealers abstain from using the worldwide symbol for recycling in ads, because it was considered as ambiguous in relation to plastics.
Aluminum: Almost all metals have constantly been readily recyclable. Die castings are never dangerous wastes and they never cause problems in management or reprocessing.
-
Plastic Parts:
- Plastic is more fragile than aluminum parts.
- Plastic is too bendable for a lot of purposes.
- Plastic is not dimensionally firm enough.
- Plastic does not normally perform well in warm conditions.
- Plastic does not act well with a lot of coatings.
- Plastic injection moldings do not obstruct radio frequency.
- Plastic does not obstruct electromagnetic discharge.
- Plastic injection moulded parts do not provide themselves simply for chrome plating.
Die Cast Aluminum Parts: - Die Cast Parts have higher level durability under weight than plastics.
- Die Cast Parts are totally defiant to ultra-violet rays.
- Die Cast Parts are totally defiant to riding out.
- Die Cast Parts are totally defiant to breaking in the incidence of diverse reagents.
- Manufacturing phases for creating die cast parts are much quicker than for injection molded parts.

Diecasting Airplane Parts
Die Castings used for many Aircraft Parts. Demand for diecast airplane parts is increasing in the aircraft industry. Airplanes need lightweight materials for mobility. Moreover, planes require durability and resistance to several stresses while flying. Among metals, aluminum is used to serve as frames or skeletons of the aircraft.
In the aircraft industry, the strength of aluminum is significantly increased by high pressure die casting. Aluminum die castings used for airplane parts are strong against torsion and expansion stresses. These are important considerations since a flying aircraft is subjected to several forces.
In the machining process, there is always an associated imperfection called die casting porosity. This is the amount of gas that combines with the solidifying metal, as it cools in the mold. Porosity is characterized by the size and number of air bubbles inside the finished product. There are three levels of porosity. The second and third levels are unacceptable when it comes to machining airplane parts. This is to guarantee safety of the passengers.
Die castings used for airplane parts are usually made of different aluminum alloys. The two most common die casting alloys for aircraft parts are A380 and A413. For example, Al 7075 is commonly used for making frames because of its toughness.
