Arrow Die Casting Company Closed
I received a phone call in recent weeks from our national organization, North American Die Casters Association of die casting companies (NADCA) about Arrow Diecasters. Somehow, NADCA did not know that Arrow Die Casting Company was closed. Arrow closed a long time ago. I think they closed in May 2017.

This week I found out that another die casting company slipped away a few years ago in southern California. I discovered that the owners of Cast-Rite, also the owners of International Die Casting Company (IDC) closed IDC and moved all the die casting operations into Cast-Rite.

Unit die tooling uses less steel than a complete mold, but more steel than a die casting insert. Unit die tooling requires a master unit holder that sits in the die casting machine.
