Provisions for Manufacturing for: Aircraft Components. The process of die casting contains the procedure of setting molten metal into a mold (called dies) and applying very high pressure to it. Some parts would require post-machining processes to ensure that the dimensions are the right size.
Usually, die casting is done in two ways: the hot chamber die casting and the cold chamber method. The hot chamber technique is used for alloys such as zinc, tin, and lead as they have high fluidity and low melting point. The cold chamber method, on the other hand, is commonly utilized on aluminum and copper alloys.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that the dies can be fairly luxurious because they are made of much more durable materials such as steel and iron.
Is Die Casting the Best Option?
Several companies favor to have their parts die cast because this process allows them to create more diverse shapes and designs. The parts also tend to be long-lasting and can add aesthetic impact to its surrounding environment. The production of die cast materials is also fast associated to other methods such as sand casting and permanent mold casting. The materials are known to ensure heavy weight and are more dimensionally stable compared to other materials. You can also have them smoothed out, textured, or plated. Equipment assembly is also made much more convenient because of the incorporation of fastening elements like studs.

Kinetic Die Casting is the Correct Die Casting Business
Kinetic Die Casting is the Correct Die Casting Business. Searching for the right die casting company for box parts, airplane components, speaker parts, commercial metal parts, appliance items, and housing components, the quickest and the most reliable way is to browse through the internet. You’ll see different die casting businesses that have varied specializations. Some companies specialize in box items, airplane components, speaker components, metal casting components, automotive components, and transportation parts, but most of them deal with zinc die casting.
Consider these tips in selecting the most suitable die casting business where you can get the right aluminum hardware items, military parts, speaker parts, metal casting items, motor parts, and housing items:
Production – prior to entering into a contract of sale with any company which is involved in die casting, you have to know whether or not they’re creating or manufacturing high quality hardware such as box items, airplane items, speaker parts, commercial metal items, motor components, and transportation parts. You can go to different forums that continuously discuss the organization’s finished products or you may also read the clients’ testimonials that were posted on the store’s official website. Of course, the best thing is to ask your friends if they know one or two companies that can provide the right materials.
Credibility – not all die casting companies can handle the best works especially when it comes to enclosure items, airplane items, lighting fixture parts, metal casting parts, motor items, and housing parts. You have to keep in mind that the company has the duty to provide its clients or potential customers all the necessary details or information about their business, such as the date when the organization was established as well as the names of various industries that they’re working for. It’s also best to deal with a die casting business that is certified by the right government body. The certification serves as a proof that the business is one of the finest when it comes to die casting since it has passed all the essential requisites.

Select the company that can offer the best price; however, be sure that this will not put in danger the quality of the product.
Get in touch with the business – you should not hesitate to place a call or to send a message so as to satisfy your queries. Most of these die casting providers have a customer support hotline which can provide all the details that you require.
There are many benefits that you can obtain when you choose the right die casting business. Premier Lakewood Die Casting Plant Closure
Premier Lakewood Inc. Plant To Close In May
Economy Cited As Reason; 75 Workers Affected
February 11, 2014
By Mallory Diefenbach (mdiefenbach@post-journal.com) , The Post-Journal
LAKEWOOD- Premier Lakewood Inc., a Michigan-owned company located on 201 Winchester Road in Lakewood, will be closing its doors on May 6, displacing 75 employees.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification from the New York state Department of Labor, layoffs will begin on May 1 and continue through May 6. Economic reasons have been cited for the closure. Calls made to the plant on Monday were not returned.
According to a Post-Journal article from 2006, the plant has been in Lakewood since 1946. Premier Lakewood Inc. purchased the company from Lexington Die Casting in 2005. Lexington Die Casting, which had owned the plant since 1992, set to close the factory for good, leaving their remaining 45 employees out of luck. However, due to a collaborative effort between the previous owners, local development leaders and New York state officials, the jobs and factory alike were saved.
In the same 2006 Post-Journal article, Paul Brancaleon, president of the Michigan-based Premier Tool and Die Cast Corporation – which the Lakewood branch is a part of, went on record speaking of tripling Lakewood operations and stepping up production five-fold over the next three years.
Premier Lakewood takes in hundreds of tons of recycled aluminum every month, melts it down and channels it through dozen of die casters. This is then shaped into strong, light-weight parts, half for automobiles and half for other commodities.

It is sad to me to see another US Die Casting Manufacturing Company close their doors. I feel sorry for the 75 displaced workers in New York. I hope they will be able to find comparable work locally. We are experiencing growth in southern California. We wish you all the best luck for the workers and owners of Premier Die Casting Company for the future.
