Happy Mother’s Day 2022
Today, Sunday, May 8th is Mothers Day 2022. Why do we celebrate Mothers Day? For “the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world” – Anna Jarvis. The US holiday of Mother’s Day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at Saint Andrew’s Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Saint Andrew’s Methodist Church has an International Mother’s Day Shrine now to remember. Her campaign to make “Mother’s Day” a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis, died. The mother, Ann Jarvis, had been a peace activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the American Civil War. Ann created Mother’s Day Work Clubs to address public health issues. Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honor all mothers.

Good Friday and Easter 2022
Kinetic Die Casting Company hopes everyone has a great holiday this weekend. Hoping everyone has a Good Friday and a Happy Easter. Christians believe that Jesus died on Friday (Good Friday) and arose from the dead on Sunday (Easter Sunday). Good Friday and Easter are not observed today as it was in the past. Many Easter traditions still exist.
Easter Sunday Services –
Many Christians go to church on Easter Sunday to honor Christ rising from the grave. Many of these church services are a “Sunrise Service”. Easter is one of the days that many Christians feel they need to be in church.
Easter Eggs –
Kids enjoy the Easter egg hunts using Easter baskets and the chocolate bunnies. Many adults enjoy eating the chocolate bunny ears and watching the young kids scramble for the eggs. Some adults and older children color real eggs to hide or give away. Some plastic eggs contain money or jelly beans.
Easter Meals –
Some families have a special meal or special bread that is prepared on Easter Sunday. This is typically a individual family tradition. Many families feel that their traditions maintain their family unity and identity.

Presidents Day 2022
The third Monday in February is Presidents’ Day. Washington’s Birthday was a United States federal holiday.
This holiday, celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington, our first President of the United States. Now, this day is known as Presidents Day, and is often an occasion to remember all the U.S. presidents, not just George Washington’s actual birthday, February 22 or Abraham Lincoln, whose birthday is February 12th. The term “Presidents’ Day” used to change the holiday into a day honoring multiple American presidents.
Recently, the February holiday is a day in which many retail stores, especially furniture stores and car dealerships, hold discount sales. Until the late 1980s, banks and corporate businesses closed on this day, similar to present corporate and bank practices on Memorial Day or Christmas Day. With the late 1980s advertising push to rename the holiday, more retail businesses are staying open during the holiday each year, and, as on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Veterans Day and Columbus Day. Many colleges and universities hold regular classes and operations on Presidents’ Day. Most U.S. Postal Service delivery services offer regular service on the day.

Happy Valentine’s Day 2022
This is our 2022 Valentine’s Day Almond Roca for Purchase Orders Special. February 14 is celebrated as Valentine’s Day. This friendly holiday is celebrated annually on February 14. It is a festival of romantic love and some people give Valentines Day cards, Love Letters, flowers or presents to their spouse or partner. They may also arrange a romantic meal in a restaurant or night in a hotel. Common symbols of Valentine’s Day are red hearts, red roses and Cupid.

Our Valentine’s Day Almond Roca Special is open to all our customers. For every purchase order (PO) we receive by March 1, the buyer will receive a half pound bag of our world famous Almond Roca Candy. If anyone sends two purchase orders, they will receive two bags and three POs for three bags. From now until March 1, we will be sending a half pound bag of yummy homemade Almond Roca to our customer’s company buyers for any new purchase orders (POs) for production die casting parts and for die casting tooling purchase orders. Purchase Orders received from now to July 4th qualify for the free candy. If you have never received our homemade candy, now is the time to get some, by placing purchase orders you need to place anyway.
